Christian greetings to all our beloved readers! The prayerhotline wishes all of you God's blessings. We all know that our World today is full of tension. There is war in many countries, there is terrorism and political upheaval in almost every continent of the globe. There are also natural disasters and other catastrophies bringing pain and suffering to millions of people. There are diseases afflicting both young and old everywhere. Can we find peace of mind in the midst of all this turmoil? Is there a hope or is there a source that we can turn to for help? The good news is that there is such a place we can turn to. There is such a hope we can count on. This is why this prayerhotline is called HELP FROM ABOVE PRAYERHOTLINE! Hope comes only from above for "every good gift and every perfect gift is from above and cometh down from the Father of lights with whom is no variableness, neither shadow of turning" James 1:17. When we are filled with fear for what is happening in our world, that is when we realize the need for prayer. Someone has said that " God's  marvelous miracle working times have been times" when there is more praying among His people. In the previous month of March 2004, this prayerhotline has witnessed two great miracles that have come about as a result people who called the hotline to pray with our prayer warriors. The following are two testimonies resulting from answered prayers.

A LADY FOUND THE MONEY SHE NEEDED TO BUY A CAR AFTER PRAYING:

A lady called the prayerhotline. She needed to pray with someone in order to obtain the extra money she needed to buy a car. Her old car that she had been using, just broke down beyond repairs. She had no other car to use. She had no one to borrow a car from to use for her daily activities. She was stranded and desperate. She saw a used car that was selling for $1,600 which looked great. But she had only $1,000 and the seller was going to sell it to another person in two days if this lady did not come up with the balance. This was the reason why she decided to call the prayerhotline for prayers.  As she poured out her heart to God through our prayerhotline, little did she know her prayer was about to be answered. To her surprise, two days after praying, somebody who heard her need, gave her the balance. She bought the car and she is using it without any problem. Praise God for answered prayer! 

The prayerhotline has been praying for a family that has a sick daughter who is thrown down unconsciously many a time by an unusual sickness. When this girl passes out,  sometimes the condition lasts for anywhere between two to three hours. Her school life has been disrupted and her family is devasted due to this problem. Numerous attempts to find cure for this girl has been unsuccessful because doctors cannot diagnose her condition and this has been going on for a year. After praying for this girl and this family continually for months, the prayerhotline called the family to find out the condition of the girl and the effects of our incessant prayers. The family  joyfully and excitedly told the hotline program on the phone, " God has performed wonders, the child no longer has the sickness, it just disappeared more than a year ago without any medical treatment from anybody." God has intervened miraculously and  and the girl has never experienced the sickness again. Praise God for answered prayer!

APRIL 2004 PRAYER MIRACLES:

Dear prayer warriors, the Help From Above prayerhotline is witnessing miracles after miracles of answered prayers.We are giving our Lord Jesus Christ the praise and the glory for answering the prayers of our callers. Our callers call from all over this country anytime. Some call in the middle of the night for prayers. Some call in the early morning hours of the day.

Some call in tears with their problems. Some call with heavy hearts. We thank God that their calls are not in vain.Their trust in God in alleviating their pains and allaying their fears through prayers is always rewarded.

PRAYER HELPS A YOUNG PHYSICIAN TO PASS HIS BOARD EXAMINATION:

A young Christian physician who has been trying to pass his medical board examination, and has always met with failure after failure inspite of his efforts and intelligence,  called for prayer as a last resort. He wanted to give up out of frustration. The prayerhotline encouraged him to try the board  examination one more time.  Prayers were offered on his behalf from time to time. The youngman trusted in the prayers. He believed in a God who never fails when we go to him in prayer. Sometime ago, the prayerhotline called the youngman to find out how he made out in the last board examination. He shouted with joy and praise in his voice, "God has listened to our prayers, I have finally passed all my medical Board examinations. Glory and honor be unto our Lord!"   How true are the words of the psalmist, " O thou that hearest prayer, unto thee shall all flesh come" Psalm 65:2.  We encourage all who read these testimonies, to share with others and to encourage others to call the prayerhotline so we can develop and strengthen our relationship with our Lord Jesus Christ through prayer. MAY 2004 PRAYER MIRACLE:

PRAYER SAVES SOMEONE FROM COMMITTING SUICIDE:

It is always true that prayer changes situations and circumstances. Someone called the prayerhotline for prayers because the person felt suicidal after the loss of a beloved one. This person was sad and desperate because of this great loss. She even thought life was not worth living. This was about 1:30am when the call came. The prayerhotline prayed for this individual, and in addition to the prayers, called 911 for the police to quickly send help to this person since it is outside the scope of this prayer ministry to deal with a suicidal situation alone. The police did their part. The prayerhotline did her part by asking God to intervene.  The next morning, the person was happy for calling the prayerhotline for she said "I'm now feeling much better and thank you for  praying for me and also calling 911 to help me" God answers prayers. Praise God for the miracle of answered prayer!

JUNE 2004 PRAYER MIRACLE

PRAYER SAVES A MARRIAGE:

A young lady called 12.30 am one day with tears in her voice. She requested for prayers for her marriage which was falling apart. The husband had left her. She did not know where to find him. The prayerhotline prayed for this lady for a couple of days as she kept on calling everyday for prayers. One day when she found the husband's phone number, she requested the prayerhotline to call the husband and pray with him about the marriage. The prayerhotline indicated to her that the hotline is not a marriage counseling program but we will just pray with the husband about the marriage. The hotline called and the youngman was very receptive and enjoyed the season of prayer on the phone. He had apparently filed all the divorce documents with his lawyer. But after praying with him for a week, he told the hotline, "I have decided to withdraw all the divorce papers and to reconcile with my wife". Today the husband and wife are making plans to live together and stay together again. Prayer has indeed saved this marriage. Yes prayer changes situations and circumstances.

Dear readers and callers of this prayerhotline, we are pleased to inform you that miracles from prayers are happening every month as you can notice from the testimonies on this site. We praise the name of God for glorifying Himself by answering our prayers.

This month a young man requested for prayer to be able to find a place to rent without any downpayment since he did not have any money for any downpayment. He just started working. He searched for  an apartment for more than two weeks but he did not seem to find a place to rent with no downpayment. After praying with this young man every night about this need, he miraculously found a place with no downpayment-nothing to pay in advance just to move in and pay his first month rent at the end of the month. Praise God for answered prayers.

The Help From Above Prayerhotline has had two prayer sessions this month. People were invited from other denominations to pray together on various prayer requests. Some of the requests included requests for healing, for jobs, for better relationship in marriage, for good relationship with Jesus to mention but a few. For about two and half hours prayer warriors were on their needs agonizing on behalf of others. These moments of prayers were really solemn occasions of intercessory prayers. A special prayer was offered for a lady who has been experiencing serious migraine continuously for many months. Two weeks after this special season of prayers, she called that miraculously she had not experienced any migraine since the prayers were offered on her behalf. Praise God for answered prayers. 11John 5:14 says,"And this is the confidence that we have in Him that if we ask anything according to his will, he heareth us. And if we know that he hear us, whatsoever we ask, we know that we have the petitions that we desired of him" We encourage all to cultivate the habit of praying always in order to open the communication line between us and our creator God. SEPTEMBER 2004:

A lady called the prayerhotline with a  prayer request for her daughter. This daughter  had abondoned her mother and had left home by accusing both the mother and  the stepfather of abusing her physically. The court system had then given custody of the daughter to her biological father who had divorced the mother. Under this circumstances, the daughter even refused to talk to the mother and the stepfather.

Prayers were offered for this mother and particularly for the daughter to be on good terms with the mother and possibly be allowed by the court to come back to live with the mother. For months there was no sign of the daughter even calling the mother on the phone. God surely answers prayers. Just about a month ago the mother called the hotline to report the good news that today the daughter is confessing that she had done wrong by accusing the mother and the stepfather falsely of abusing her. The daughter is now on good terms with the mother. She has been calling home to the mother and is looking for the day when she could move back home to live with the mother. Thank God for the miracle of answered prayers.

OCTOBER 2004 PRAYER MIRACLE:

A lady called the prayerhotline asking for prayer so the son will abandon his liquor business in a foreign country and enter into another business. This lady felt liquor business is doing more harm than good to individuals who get drunk and drive and get into accidents and kill others and themselves. Also, this lady believes drunk individuals get into domestic violence easily. The son told the mother the liquor business was too prosperous for him to close down. Well the prayerhotline prayed for a couple of months and finally one  this month, the news came that the son closed down the liquor business for good. Praise God for answered prayers.

GOD HEALED A LADY INSTANTLY AFTER PRAYERS.

A lady called the prayerhotline indicating she is experiencing severe stamach pain after she took her ulcer medication. The hotline instructed her to call 911 immediately if the pain persisted. The lady requested for prayer before she said she would call 911. After the prayer with her on the phone, the lady exlaimed, "this is a miracle the pain is gone and l don't feel a thing" However the prayerhotline advised her to see her doctor immediately even though the pain has disappeared! Praise God for the miracle of answered prayer.

These testimonies are for all time. We will therefore not put any date on the testimonies. Also, we will not give details of those testimonies but will be brief so as to expand them in a book that we will write in the near future . A lady passed her Nursing Board examination  through  persistent prayer inspite of the difficult nature of the examination .This lady had failed the examination before on a couple of occasions but when she decided to go the Lord in prayer, she passed the examination despite the odds that faced her. She told her friend about what prayer did for her. Her friend also called the hotline when she was going to write the same examination. Miraculously,  she called to tell  the prayerhotline that she also passed. The details of these two testimonies are fascinating.
