Welcome to more testimonies of answered prayers. It is a time for the prayer hotline to begin to count our blessings, and to "name them one by one" in order to surprise all our readers "what the Lord has done"  Let no one be mistaken, these are perilous times. Times of wars and rumors of wars (Matthew 24:6-7) As Satan begins to lay his assault on families, churches and schools and in all facets of our lives, it behooves all christians to use the privilege of prayer to strenthen our faith in Christ. And also,  to build a firmer and stronger relationship with Christ through prayer. Someone has said that, "when faith ceases to pray, it ceases to live" Christ projected this central truth when he saw that Peter's faith was about to falter. He said  to Simon Peter, " Simon, Simon, behold Satan hath desired to have you, to sift you as wheat; but l have prayed for thee, that thy faith fail not"(Luke 22:31) Let us learn to pray for one another so we can fortify our faith in Christ through prayer as Christ did for Peter's faith through his own prevailing prayer.
William Lee said that what is  important about prayer, is not the arithmetic of our prayers, how many they are; nor the rhetoric of our prayers, how eloquent they are; nor the geometry of our prayers, how long they be, nor the music of our prayers, how sweet our voice may be, nor the logic of our prayers, how argumentative they may be; nor the method of our prayers, how orderly they may be-which God cares for, fervency of spirit is that which availeth much.

TESTIMONY #1
A call came to through the prayer hotline from a  young man with tears  in his voice asking the Lord to perform a miracle so his car that had just been repaired would  start functioning. This young man has become desperate. He bought a used car. The transmission gave up in a month's time. He replaced the transmission. Everything seemed fine with the car. Two months later, the engine too developed a problem that could not be fixed except replacing it with another engine. After spending so much money to get a better engine -a slightly used one, to replace it, the mechanic called that that engine was bad and that he could not start the car after installing the engine in the it .  The mechanic notwithstanding, needed his money for working on the car. It was in the midst of this situation that this young man called for prayer so that the lord will somehow cause the car to function so he wouldn't spend nearly $650 on a car that will not start. After the prayer hot line had prayed with this young man, about three hours later another call came from him that the car had started surprisingly and that the engine that was installed that could not  function before miraculously started functioning like a new engine. He has not had a problem with the car ever since. Thank God for the miracle of answered prayer. 

TESTIMONY #2

A young man had spent so much money to obtain his green card so he would be a legal resident of this country. He has called the immigration office that is working on his documents so many times but did not seem to get anybody who would take his time to tell him about the status of his application. This youngman became very worried and desperate. He was once told that they could not track down his application. He then called the prayerhotline for God's help. The following day he made another call to the immigration office hoping that in the strenght of the prayer request, God would help him to find out what has happened with his application. Amazingly, he got someone  on the phone for the first time who took his time to talk to him. That day he got the good news that not only has his application been found in their computer, it has been approved and that an approval  letter was in the mail.  Thank God for the miracle of answered prayers!

TESTIMONY#3

A younglady who believes in prayer called the prayerhotline to share some wonderful news and to ask the hotline to join her to give thanks to God. She was scared at the prospect of going to the dentist for a drill in one of her teeth. The cost of the drill and other work on her teeth  would be too much for her to pay. She decided to have the teeth pulled out which appeared to be cheaper than the drilling. She also dreaded the pain and the swelling that would follow after this procedure. She prayed for God's help. At the dentist office, she was told that she could receive $600 discount from what she would have paid so that she would accept the drilling instead of the pulling of the entire teeeth since she was too young to start losing her teeth. What is more, she never felt any pain during the procedure and the swelling was not as bad as she had anticipated. God does answer prayers. Many thanks to Jesus for the miracle of answered prayers.

A SOLEMN PLEA TO ALL OUR READERS!!

Please, do not neglect prayers. Ask the Holy spirit to be your helper in prayers and to remind you to pray daily without ceasing. Pray for more faith in God. Pray that you can become a true disciple of Christ to help others prepare for the soon coming of Jesus Christ. Pray for our youths who are being bombarded here and there with all kinds of secular influences from the media so the Holy spirit will protect them to grant them a saving relationship with Jesus Christ. Pray for all  families so that the type of family unit that God instituted in Eden will be able to stand the test of times.  Pray for our military men and women all over the world so God may protect and guide them. Pray for all the troubled spots in the world so peace may reign for the Gospel to finish the work in the hearts of men and women. Pray for God's Church on earth that we may carry our mission to prepare the world for the soon coming savior!
